Affordable Funerals in Liverpool

Affordable Funerals in LiverpoolOne of the most common questions we get asked from people looking for affordable funerals in Liverpool, is what options are there for a funeral service and how involved can the family be in the planning? At Barringtons Funeral Directors, we always put the family at the very heart of the planning process and strive to ensure that the service provides everything the family wanted in an atmosphere of dignity and respect. Our funeral services are not only famously affordable, they’re also tailor made to each individual.

Family members organising Liverpool affordable funerals are first of all invited to an initial meeting with the funeral director. They will be given a dedicated director who is available for them at all times. We realise how emotionally and physically draining the experience can be, so we’re always on hand with help and experience whenever we’re needed. This initial meeting will usually last between one and two hours and we’ll talk about the person who has died and get to know them a little. Family members are given as much time as they need during this meeting and we never rush our clients. As well as going through the many options that are available, we’ll complete the paperwork and explain the legal formalities, as well as looking at the costs.

There are lots of things to consider when organising affordable funerals in Liverpool, but this means that family members can create a service that gives a true reflection of the person who’s died, and a fitting memorial. Firstly, the organiser can choose where to hold the funeral: in a place of religion, a crematorium, or even somewhere else that was special to the deceased. There’s a wide choice of caskets available and there are also choices of flowers that can be made. We can talk about who is going to carry the coffin and the transport for it. This is usually a hearse, but there are other options available, such as a horse drawn carriage or motorcycle hearse. Music is a big part of the service as well and we can help to arrange this with a minister of religion if required. Please call us today, if you’d like more information.

      Coronavirus Virus Update

Thanks for visiting our website. We are open to support you during the current Coronavirus Crisis.

We are continuing to offer our service with some limitations to our working to keep you safe and also our team members.

At the moment we prefer to make arrangements remotely over the phone or using video conferencing. If you doesn't work for you, please let us know and we will make arrangements to support you.

Please make an appointment before visiting our offices. If you are in isolation, shielding  or clinically vulnerable we can still help by using email and the internet. We may visit you to sign paperwork or to collect items and we can also complete forms on your behalf or e-sign them using the internet.

Our Waterloo office is open 9am - 5pm and Formby is currently open 10am - 4pm. There are still lots of ways that we can discuss to make the service personal and involve people from a distance.

Funerals are still taking place but there is a legal limit on attendance at the service of 30 people. Any reception or wake is subject to the current restrictions on hospitality.

Thanks for your understanding. Please don't wait before making arrangements. It's important that we still hold funeral services promptly.

      Thanks very much,

      David and Claire Barrington.
