Litherland Funeral Director

Litherland Funeral Director

Litherland Funeral DirectorSearching for a Litherland funeral director at the last minute can be a bit of a time consuming and nerve wrecking experience. The passing of a loved one is something that no one can be prepared for, regardless of its inevitable arrival. When a loved one passes on it can be a very difficult time and taking care of the funeral arrangements with sensible decisions can be very emotional. During this trying time it is advisable to obtain the assistance of a professional to guide you.

There are two ways a funeral director in Litherland can help you arrange the most appropriate funeral for your loved one. The first is a pre-paid funeral where you take some time to clearly list out your requirements in advance, leaving your plans for a funeral with the funeral director. In this way, when the time comes, the funeral’s details and arrangements are planned and itemised, following the wishes of the deceased. The funeral director will know precisely what is needed and how it should be conducted. The costs of the funeral proceedings would also have been finalised beforehand.

The second option is to hire a Litherland funeral director to conduct the funeral. He would advise you at a time when you are in an emotional state and possibly in need of knowledgeable guidance. His role is to calmly and compassionately lead you through the process of arranging a funeral befitting the loved one who has passed on. The funeral director will help you make the decisions on whether you would like a religious or non-religious ceremony, the venue, the type of coffin, right to the placing of the notice of funeral in the newspaper. This is one of the most difficult times for those who have suffered a loss .At Barringtons, we make sure that you have the right kind of guidance and support needed to ensure the type of funeral your loved one would have planned for themselves. Whichever type of funeral you decide, you will receive professional advice and support from us at every step of the way.

We are continuing to offer our service with some limitations to our working to keep you safe and also our team members.

At the moment we prefer to make arrangements remotely over the phone or using video conferencing. If you doesn't work for you, please let us know and we will make arrangements to support you.

Please make an appointment before visiting our offices. If you are in isolation, shielding  or clinically vulnerable we can still help by using email and the internet. We may visit you to sign paperwork or to collect items and we can also complete forms on your behalf or e-sign them using the internet.

Our Waterloo office is open 9am - 5pm and Formby is currently open 10am - 4pm. There are still lots of ways that we can discuss to make the service personal and involve people from a distance.

Funerals are still taking place but there is a legal limit on attendance at the service of 30 people. Any reception or wake is subject to the current restrictions on hospitality.

Thanks for your understanding. Please don't wait before making arrangements. It's important that we still hold funeral services promptly.

      Thanks very much,

      David and Claire Barrington.
