Seeking Funeral Directors in Merseyside?

Funeral Directors in Merseyside Our team of funeral directors in Merseyside will talk you through the necessary procedures such as registering the death and will answer questions you may have. At Barringtons Independent Funeral Services our funeral directors are available at all times to talk to and we will take as much of the organising off your shoulders as possible, allowing you to prepare for the days ahead. We encourage families we serve to take lead in the funeral service, which in turn will ensure a personal, meaningful service is conducted. Our team has years of experience arranging various types of funerals and will help with all the arrangements including an appropriate service. Which ever of our team assists you with the arrangements, will in addition on the day also supervise the funeral.

In Merseyside, funeral directors will spend around one to two hours in a meeting with you to discuss the life of the person who has passed on and discuss the type of funeral you have in mind. You need to make a funeral choice such as a religious ceremony, non-religious or no ceremony. You need to make a venue choice such as a crematorium or church or maybe a place the person loved. Then you need to choose a coffin type as there are various options and the mode of transport and other finer details. During the meeting any statutory paperwork will be completed and costs will be discussed.

Once the funeral arrangements with the funeral directors in Merseyside has been completed, they will then contact the relevant authorities and officials on your behalf for the arrangements to be put in place. Should any change need to be made, you will be contacted for approval. The funeral services we provide are bespoke and tailored to specifically suit the client. There are various funeral packages such as a traditional funeral which is familiar to most people. Then there is a bespoke funeral service and a simple funeral service. The lowest cost service offered is a direct cremation with no ceremony. We offer additional services that will ensure each funeral is unique. Contact Barringtons and get the funeral you want without the fuss.

    approach to funeral service

      Coronavirus Virus Update

Thanks for visiting our website. We are open to support you during the current Coronavirus Crisis.

We are continuing to offer our service with some limitations to our working to keep you safe and also our team members.

At the moment we prefer to make arrangements remotely over the phone or using video conferencing. If you doesn't work for you, please let us know and we will make arrangements to support you.

Please make an appointment before visiting our offices. If you are in isolation, shielding  or clinically vulnerable we can still help by using email and the internet. We may visit you to sign paperwork or to collect items and we can also complete forms on your behalf or e-sign them using the internet.

Our Waterloo office is open 9am - 5pm and Formby is currently open 10am - 4pm. There are still lots of ways that we can discuss to make the service personal and involve people from a distance.

Funerals are still taking place but there is a legal limit on attendance at the service of 30 people. Any reception or wake is subject to the current restrictions on hospitality.

Thanks for your understanding. Please don't wait before making arrangements. It's important that we still hold funeral services promptly.

      Thanks very much,

      David and Claire Barrington.
