Funeral Directors in Sefton

Funeral Directors in SeftonHaving contact information for reputable funeral directors in Sefton is especially important when your loved one passes suddenly. If someone dies after an extended illness or when quite old, family members have stored information in their memory in preparation for the event. They know whom the first call will go to for funeral directors when the time comes. However, when death is caused by accident, violence, or any form of sudden bereavement, the shock is devastating. Young families are often at a loss as to what steps need taking. Barringtons Independent Funeral Services are familiar with the toll such tragedies take on families. If you or someone you know finds themselves in such a position, we encourage you to make the first call to us.

In Sefton, funeral directors at Barringtons are ready to accept your call anytime, 24-hours a day. With just a brief conversation, we will be able to assume all the preliminary responsibilities, giving you time and space to cope with the loss. We will remove the body from the hospital as soon as they release it. Hospitals expect that immediately. Most hospital staff are kind enough to make the call for you at your request. We only need about two hours of your time out of the next 24 hours to gather necessary documents and information so we can arrange a funeral service according to your wishes.

Barringtons funeral directors in Sefton are here to support and guide you through this time with as little burden to you as possible. We are an independent funeral provider with the ability to customise final services to your specifications. Paperwork, flowers, music, obituary, coordination with religious ministers are just some of the many details that we will organise to suit you. The funeral of a loved one is a personal event. Barringtons Independent Funeral Services want to assure you that the right way to say good-bye to a loved one is whatever way brings peace and meaning to your heart. We will guide you and carry out your wishes so the final service will be unique to you and your family.  For more information on funeral directors, contact Barringtons Independent Funeral Services.

    approach to funeral service

      Coronavirus Virus Update

Thanks for visiting our website. We are open to support you during the current Coronavirus Crisis.

We are continuing to offer our service with some limitations to our working to keep you safe and also our team members.

At the moment we prefer to make arrangements remotely over the phone or using video conferencing. If you doesn't work for you, please let us know and we will make arrangements to support you.

Please make an appointment before visiting our offices. If you are in isolation, shielding  or clinically vulnerable we can still help by using email and the internet. We may visit you to sign paperwork or to collect items and we can also complete forms on your behalf or e-sign them using the internet.

Our Waterloo office is open 9am - 5pm and Formby is currently open 10am - 4pm. There are still lots of ways that we can discuss to make the service personal and involve people from a distance.

Funerals are still taking place but there is a legal limit on attendance at the service of 30 people. Any reception or wake is subject to the current restrictions on hospitality.

Thanks for your understanding. Please don't wait before making arrangements. It's important that we still hold funeral services promptly.

      Thanks very much,

      David and Claire Barrington.
