funeral service in LitherlandYou might be considering a funeral service in Litherland if a close member of your family has recently passed on. We all want what is best for our loved ones and should you not have a professional funeral director to guide and help plan the service, it could become costly and be poorly managed. During your time of bereavement you tend to be at a loss for the efficient planning of a meaningful funeral service. At Barringtons Independent Funeral Services they understand this and treat all of their clients and their families with the utmost respect and dignity.

In Litherland, funeral services at Barringtons can be tailored to your requirements. They believe that the cost of the funeral service should cover the needed aspects of an appropriate funeral service. Whether you prefer a traditional funeral or choose to have the deceased cremated, you can be sure of expert advice from the funeral Directors at Barringtons. There are, however, certain aspects of a funeral service that are standard. These are the specifics such as the legal documentation to be completed as per government requirements, collecting the body and preparing it for burial or cremation, and administration fees for doctors and coroners. The details that you are able to change or add are aspects such as the viewing in the chapel to say your last goodbyes or having a coffin of your choice. The efficient, yet friendly staff at Barringtons Funeral Services are open to your suggestions and will advise you every step of the way. Some people prefer to make certain choices of their own. Barringtons encourage this and will guide you in the right direction.

A meaningful funeral service in Litherland will not only help to soften the emotional trauma, but can also assist in the grieving process. Make use of the professional service offered by Barringtons. This will enable you to focus on the needs of family members who are also grieving. approach to funeral service

      Coronavirus Virus Update

Thanks for visiting our website. We are open to support you during the current Coronavirus Crisis.

We are continuing to offer our service with some limitations to our working to keep you safe and also our team members.

At the moment we prefer to make arrangements remotely over the phone or using video conferencing. If you doesn't work for you, please let us know and we will make arrangements to support you.

Please make an appointment before visiting our offices. If you are in isolation, shielding  or clinically vulnerable we can still help by using email and the internet. We may visit you to sign paperwork or to collect items and we can also complete forms on your behalf or e-sign them using the internet.

Our Waterloo office is open 9am - 5pm and Formby is currently open 10am - 4pm. There are still lots of ways that we can discuss to make the service personal and involve people from a distance.

Funerals are still taking place but there is a legal limit on attendance at the service of 30 people. Any reception or wake is subject to the current restrictions on hospitality.

Thanks for your understanding. Please don't wait before making arrangements. It's important that we still hold funeral services promptly.

      Thanks very much,

      David and Claire Barrington.
