Bespoke Funerals in Southport

Bespoke Funerals in SouthportBespoke Funerals in Southport offered by Barringtons can help make the funeral and grieving process a little easier.

No one wants to do anything after losing a loved one, let alone arrange a funeral. It can be a difficult time, and regardless of whether the death was sudden or expected, you can never be prepared for the emotional loss. It will be helpful to have a funeral director to rely on when preparing a bespoke funeral. We will assist you in making the arrangements for an appropriate and significant service.

For families in Southport, bespoke funerals are tailored precisely according to your needs and wishes. We start by having a meeting with you where we will discuss all your ideas for the funeral. The venue, whether it is to be a burial or cremation, type of coffin, transport, music, newspaper notices and flowers will all be discussed. We will also do all the statutory paperwork and cover all the legal procedures in this meeting, as well as contacting all the relevant officials and the authorities on your behalf. From direct cremation with no ceremony to the traditional funeral service, we can assist you. At Barringtons we provide funeral services that are bespoke and tailored to your particular needs and wishes, whether it is a traditional-style funeral or something a little more personalised or individual.

Bespoke funerals in Southport can bring the deceased’s family great peace of mind. We also offer pre-paid funerals. It is sometimes difficult to talk to your family and loved ones about your funeral wishes, but with a pre-paid funeral you can make your wishes known without upsetting anyone. When the time comes, they don’t have to worry about funeral costs or decision making. To learn more about bespoke funerals, contact Barringtons. We know that losing a loved one is a sad and hard time for you, and it is emotionally stressful trying to organise a funeral. You can rely on us for professional and compassionate assistance.

    An overview of our
    approach to funeral service

      Coronavirus Virus Update

Thanks for visiting our website. We are open to support you during the current Coronavirus Crisis.

We are continuing to offer our service with some limitations to our working to keep you safe and also our team members.

At the moment we prefer to make arrangements remotely over the phone or using video conferencing. If you doesn't work for you, please let us know and we will make arrangements to support you.

Please make an appointment before visiting our offices. If you are in isolation, shielding  or clinically vulnerable we can still help by using email and the internet. We may visit you to sign paperwork or to collect items and we can also complete forms on your behalf or e-sign them using the internet.

Our Waterloo office is open 9am - 5pm and Formby is currently open 10am - 4pm. There are still lots of ways that we can discuss to make the service personal and involve people from a distance.

Funerals are still taking place but there is a legal limit on attendance at the service of 30 people. Any reception or wake is subject to the current restrictions on hospitality.

Thanks for your understanding. Please don't wait before making arrangements. It's important that we still hold funeral services promptly.

      Thanks very much,

      David and Claire Barrington.
