It can be a difficult time after the loss of a loved one, and it can be as difficult to make funeral arrangements.  It is an emotionally difficult time, and regardless of whether the death was sudden or expected, you can never be prepared for the emotional loss. We are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and should you need assistance with funeral arrangements, we are available to assist you during this sad time.

If you have lost a loved one in Crosby, funeral arrangements need to be planned. Speak to us and we assist you in planning a dignified and respectful funeral. We start by having a meeting with you where we will discuss the ideas you have in mind for the funeral. This would include the venue, whether it is to be a burial or cremation, the type of coffin, transport, newspaper notices, and the choice of music and flowers. We will also assist with all the statutory paperwork and cover all the legal procedures in this meeting, as well as contacting all the relevant officials and the authorities on your behalf. From the traditional funeral service to a direct cremation with no ceremony, we can guide and advise on the most suitable service for your lost loved one.  We aim to provide funeral services that are memorable and tailored to our client.

    An overview of our
    approach to funeral service

      Coronavirus Virus Update

Thanks for visiting our website. We are open to support you during the current Coronavirus Crisis.

We are continuing to offer our service with some limitations to our working to keep you safe and also our team members.

At the moment we prefer to make arrangements remotely over the phone or using video conferencing. If you doesn't work for you, please let us know and we will make arrangements to support you.

Please make an appointment before visiting our offices. If you are in isolation, shielding  or clinically vulnerable we can still help by using email and the internet. We may visit you to sign paperwork or to collect items and we can also complete forms on your behalf or e-sign them using the internet.

Our Waterloo office is open 9am - 5pm and Formby is currently open 10am - 4pm. There are still lots of ways that we can discuss to make the service personal and involve people from a distance.

Funerals are still taking place but there is a legal limit on attendance at the service of 30 people. Any reception or wake is subject to the current restrictions on hospitality.

Thanks for your understanding. Please don't wait before making arrangements. It's important that we still hold funeral services promptly.

      Thanks very much,

      David and Claire Barrington.
