Funeral Home in Sefton

Funeral Home in SeftonAre you searching for a funeral home in Sefton? Planning a funeral is a lengthy process; one that requires an enormous reserve of inner fortitude. There are many aspects involved such as choosing a burial versus a cremation, making the announcement in the newspaper, choosing the most befitting headstone and inscription, selecting the best material for the casket, whether or not to opt for flower arrangements, and the list continues. If the deceased has not made any prior planning for his or her funeral, you will be expected to make all the necessary planning. This can be a daunting process, especially if you’ve never done it before. Your best solution is to choose a funeral home that assists people with such services.

If you are located in Sefton, funeral home services are provided by Barringtons. Our goal is to provide you with a funeral service that is both personal and relevant. At Barringtons we offer three core funeral services to help the bereaved and their families. These are Cremation, Traditional Funeral and Simple Funeral Services. We will begin the process by first meeting with you to talk about the wishes of the deceased so that they get the funeral they wished for. This may take up to two hours but in that time frame, we will discuss your many options such as the type of ceremony – religious or non religious, the venue, cremation or burial service, the type of coffin such as willow, bamboo, cardboard or wood, transport and the announcement. We will also help you plan out who will be charged with carrying the coffin, the type of music you want playing in the background, what do you want to do with the ashes in case of cremation, and whether you want the names of the people attending the funeral to be listed.

If you need help planning a funeral for your loved one, a funeral home in Sefton can assist. Contact Barringtons if you need the services of a funeral home. We understand firsthand how difficult it is to do any kind of planning when dealing with your loved one’s passing, which is why we take care of all the paperwork for you.

Our Waterloo office is open 9am - 5pm and Formby is currently open 10am - 4pm. There are still lots of ways that we can discuss to make the service personal and involve people from a distance.

Funerals are still taking place but there is a legal limit on attendance at the service of 30 people. Any reception or wake is subject to the current restrictions on hospitality.

Thanks for your understanding. Please don't wait before making arrangements. It's important that we still hold funeral services promptly.

      Thanks very much,

      David and Claire Barrington.
