Bespoke Funerals in Waterloo

Bespoke Funerals in Waterloo

Bespoke Funerals in WaterlooWith bespoke funerals in Waterloo you can make your loved ones’ final farewells more meaningful. At Barrington’s, we understand the atmosphere of confusion and distress that most families go through at such times. There are thousands of decisions to be taken, with possible differences of opinion arising between members. As a family run business, we are in a unique position to ensure that the event goes smoothly, enabling you to focus on other important matters. We’re committed to upholding traditional values, but have kept in tune with changing times, aspirations, attitudes and newer ways of doing things. What sets us apart from others is the fact that we ensure that you are firmly in charge of the entire proceedings and that you take complete ownership of the funeral. We remain discreetly in the background, ensuring that things go smoothly.

Today, many families opt for cremation, non-religious services and non-packaged options. They prefer to create a unique event that reflects the personality, life and works of the deceased. In Waterloo, bespoke funerals offered by us allow you to leave out things you don’t want and add things that you feel are essential. This means you pay only for what you get. A simple, well-organised, dignified and respectful funeral is something that every family wishes for its loved one. We pay meticulous attention to the smallest of details, so that there are no awkward moments or jarring touches. We understand that there is no right or wrong way to arrange this event. Some families see it as a celebration of the person’s life and they may wish to share videos or slide-shows. Others would like features like a memory table, where friends and family can display small items that remind them of the deceased. Awards, medals, photos, jewellery, photos and other memorabilia encourage reflection and peace.

Personalisation and customisation of bespoke funerals in Waterloo help to keep the memories of your loved one fresh. Some families may want guests to have something to take home with them, like a plant, keepsake photo or a card. For assistance with bespoke funerals, contact Barringtons. We can tailor the entire funeral to meet your unique needs, preferences and budget.

    An overview of our
    approach to funeral service

      Coronavirus Virus Update

Thanks for visiting our website. We are open to support you during the current Coronavirus Crisis.

We are continuing to offer our service with some limitations to our working to keep you safe and also our team members.

At the moment we prefer to make arrangements remotely over the phone or using video conferencing. If you doesn't work for you, please let us know and we will make arrangements to support you.

Please make an appointment before visiting our offices. If you are in isolation, shielding  or clinically vulnerable we can still help by using email and the internet. We may visit you to sign paperwork or to collect items and we can also complete forms on your behalf or e-sign them using the internet.

Our Waterloo office is open 9am - 5pm and Formby is currently open 10am - 4pm. There are still lots of ways that we can discuss to make the service personal and involve people from a distance.

Funerals are still taking place but there is a legal limit on attendance at the service of 30 people. Any reception or wake is subject to the current restrictions on hospitality.

Thanks for your understanding. Please don't wait before making arrangements. It's important that we still hold funeral services promptly.

      Thanks very much,

      David and Claire Barrington.
