Unique and Respectful Non-religious Funerals in Sefton for Your Lost Loved One

Non-religious Funerals in SeftonWhen you need to plan non-religious funerals in Sefton, speak to our funeral directors.

Non-religious funerals are a way to bring people together to celebrate the life lived and a way to say goodbye to a person who has lived without religion. They focus on the person who has passed on, paying tribute to the friendships they have made and left behind, and the way they have lived their life.

For families in Sefton, non-religious funerals are one of the type of funerals that we can assist with. Each non-religious funeral ceremony we help plan is unique and designed to remember the life of the deceased and the wishes of those remembering him. The death of a loved one or close friend is shocking and to plan and prepare a funeral for them is difficult.  It is a comfort to rely on professionals to ensure the planning is appropriately done, no matter what type of funeral it is.  Our compassionate funeral directors understand the grief you are experiencing and will guide you in planning a dignified and suitable funeral.

Non-religious funerals in Sefton are planned with empathy. We will assist you every step of the way. When you need to plan a non-religious funeral, contact Barringtons.  From advice on registration and coroner’s procedures to the preparation of the ceremony and suggestions for the most appropriate coffin, you are assured of  professional and caring assistance. When you first contact us for a meeting, you will speak about the person who has passed on and what type of service you would like.  You will to make choices on the venue, at our own chapel or at one of your choice, the transport, music, and who will carry the coffin. Other aspects such as newspaper notices and whether flower arrangements are required will also be discussed and planned. During this meeting we will also complete any necessary statutory paperwork and explain any legal procedures we would need to put in place. Thereafter the minister or celebrant will contact you to discuss the service. We will take care of all the details, advising you of the process, and will complete this with care and dedication.

      Coronavirus Virus Update

Thanks for visiting our website. We are open to support you during the current Coronavirus Crisis.

We are continuing to offer our service with some limitations to our working to keep you safe and also our team members.

At the moment we prefer to make arrangements remotely over the phone or using video conferencing. If you doesn't work for you, please let us know and we will make arrangements to support you.

Please make an appointment before visiting our offices. If you are in isolation, shielding  or clinically vulnerable we can still help by using email and the internet. We may visit you to sign paperwork or to collect items and we can also complete forms on your behalf or e-sign them using the internet.

Our Waterloo office is open 9am - 5pm and Formby is currently open 10am - 4pm. There are still lots of ways that we can discuss to make the service personal and involve people from a distance.

Funerals are still taking place but there is a legal limit on attendance at the service of 30 people. Any reception or wake is subject to the current restrictions on hospitality.

Thanks for your understanding. Please don't wait before making arrangements. It's important that we still hold funeral services promptly.

      Thanks very much,

      David and Claire Barrington.
