Unattended Funeral
(Direct Cremation)

The Unattended Funeral service
allows you to have a different type
of goodbye outside of a traditional funeral service.
(plus third party fees).

  • All legal and administrative support
    and all necessary personnel.
  • Barringtons choice of date and time for the funeral service. You will be informed when the cremation takes place.
  • Collection of the deceased person
    in working hours.
  • Care of the deceased person
    until the funeral takes place.
  • Wood Effect coffin.
  • Enclosed Hearse or Private Ambulance.
  • Liaison with third party services, (Cemeteries/Crematoria/Medics).
  • A Muchloved online tribute
    and donations page.
  • The ashes will be returned in the box from the crematorium.
  • Third party fees
  • Cremation Fee for
    West Lancashire Crematorium. (£295).
    (Other crematoria are available for a supplement).
  • Total Cost: £1600
  • Not included with this service
  • Doctors Certificate for Cremation
    (£82 if required).
  • No Celebrant as there is no ceremony.
  • Presentation and dressing of the deceased person in their own clothes or a superior quality robe. (Can be added as an option, £125
  • Visits to the chapel of rest.
    (Can be added as an option, £100 per visit).

The cost above includes all essential fees and 3rd party payments made on your behalf. Although this is a limited service, there are limited options that can be added on such as viewing and dressing. This will be explained at the funeral arrangement.

Standardised Funeral Service

A funeral service with all the essential elements needed.

  • A Muchloved online tribute
    and donations page.

  • A memorial tree planted, courtesy of

    for slideshows, video or audio clips.
